A UK manufacturer of bespoke timber windows and lineal profiles has taken delivery of a dual use finishing system.

A manual spray shop enclosure, flash-off zone and Schubox gas catalytic drying oven with full overhead conveyor track and steels, has been installed for all their assembled top coated of frames.

Once hung, the products are sprayed in a controlled environment (filtered air input and extract), then into a dedicated flash-off zone, followed by rapid drying and curing in the Schubox gas catalytic infrared system.
All lineal components in either solid wood or timber are fed through a dedicated Giardina sanding and spray line.

Running at 20-30m/min, the Flextrim brush sanding heads follow the shape of the profiles, meaning a perfect and uniform pre-sand and de-nib.
Once sanded, the profiles enter the Giardina 1VE automatic spray machine, where paint is accurately sprayed onto the tops and edges of the peices.

These coated profiles are then offloaded, placed onto drying trolleys and placed inside the Schubox for rapid curing.
