technical information

Advanced Robotics for Precision Coating

These state-of-the-art robots are available in 5 axis models with direct self-learning programming, or in even more sophisticated 6 axis models, with point-to-point programming, self-learning, off-line or external control systems. Both 5 and 6 axis Epistolio robots are available in full ATEX specification for hazardous location use.

All Epistolio robots are available with versatile mounting options for a variety of application guns.

MRK PAINTING ROBOT SERIES

The MRK painting robot series offers exceptional flexibility, user-friendliness, and customisation options.

These robots support multiple programming systems, enabling point-to-point programming for simple shapes or self-learning for complex objects. With various configuration options, MRK robots can be integrated with carousel systems, external carriages, and rotation devices, all engineered by Epistolio.

Available in different arm lengths, the robots fit diverse booth spaces and object sizes. Built with lightweight yet strong materials for superior manoeuvrability, the robots feature an ergonomic joystick for easy, single-operator programming. High-quality materials ensure durability, while custom multilingual software includes production management tools.

For operator safety, the robots can be equipped with protective fencing and explosion-proof systems.

WINSIX PAINTING ROBOT SERIES

WINSIX robots provide a top-tier solution for the complete painting process, offering superior quality, robustness, and reliability. Fully integrated with advanced software, they excel in applications requiring Vision Systems or offline programming for enhanced precision and larger working areas.

The EPI-WINVISION system (2D or optional 3D) automates the painting of windows and doors by scanning images on a conveyor and generating precise painting programs in real time.

The EPI-3DVISION package analyses 3D surfaces with cameras or laser scanners to optimise painting paths, while the EPI-SIMULATION software enables programming via CAD/CAM systems, simulating the process in a 3D environment before converting it into robot commands.

for a wide variety of industries

Epistolio robotic spray systems serve a wide range of industries, including the wood, metal, plastic, ceramic, and powder coating sectors , as well as various specialist industries.

They are widely used for the precise application of paints, lacquers, adhesives, and coatings on diverse products such as furniture, bicycle frames, car components, television sets, computers, and metal containers. Other applications include coffins, telephones, doors/windows, truck cabins, agricultural and motorbike components, electric appliances, and polyurethane products.

Additionally, the robots are utilised in more specialised tasks like spraying non-stick coatings on moulds, Teflon on panels, stain on clothes, glass painting, and polyurethane painting.
