Caterham Revamp Their Finishing With Schuberts
As part of the reinvestment at the sports car manufacturer, Caterham, Schuberts have supplied a new powder coating and wet spray facility for the chassis and components.
The new system is a full water wash spray booth where they can use both powder and wet coatings on all their subframe assemblies and chassis.
Once coated, the frames, jigs and chassis are loaded into a double width, custom depth oven for drying or curing. The oven will run from 50c to 220c and via an efficient control system and burner.
